Training on Productivity Metrics Development

The State Department for Transport embarked on a 3-day comprehensive training programme for its productivity mainstreaming committee members and champions this morning. The training is focused on productivity metrics development.

The initiative, organised by the Human Resource Management and Development Department in conjunction with facilitators from the State Department for Labour and Skills Development, aims to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the State Department. The training covers various aspects of productivity mainstreaming, including the development of metrics and the factors influencing productivity. The objective is to entrench a culture of continuous improvement, streamline processes, and ultimately boost service delivery across all departments.

The programme is part of a broader Government effort to improve public service performance and the State Department's goal of fulfilling its targets in the 20th Cycle of Performance Contracting for Financial Year 2023/2024.
