Kenya and Rwanda sign MoU for KPA Liaison Office in Kigali

Today, the Government of the Republic of Kenya and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda formalised a Memorandum of Understanding to establish and operationalise Kenya Ports Authority’s Liaison Office in Kigali, Rwanda.

This collaboration will enhance trade facilitation by bringing port services closer to the Rwandan business community, improve efficiency in cargo clearance and forwarding, and strengthen regional connectivity through the Port of Mombasa.

This initiative reaffirms our commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation, promoting regional integration, and supporting seamless movement of goods within the East African Community.
