Launch of the Ikumbi-Karinga-Kagundu Road in Murang'a County.

The Cabinet Secretary Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen joined H.E. President Williams Ruto and DP Rigathi Gachagua for the launch of the Ikumbi-Karinga-Kagundu in Murang'a County.

Infrastructure connectivity is a definitive feature in the growth of the modern economy owing to the critical role it plays in facilitating seamless movement of goods and people between towns, regions and countries.
As a Ministry, we are working on overcoming the existential challenges of pending bills that have hamstrung the expansion of our infrastructure in the Country to enable grassroots development and social-economic empowerment.

On the sidelines of the launch, the Cabinet Secretary had the opportunity to interact with Boda Boda riders at Kangari in Kigumo Constituency, Murang’a County. Their  interaction focused on road safety, investments, e-mobility among others. They shared ideas on how best to support the sector and their contribution to the country’s economy.
